ABSTRACT
This review highlights the recently synthesized aurone derivatives by different synthetic methods
which include green methods and microwave assisted synthesis. One of the advantages of using
synthetic strategies as compared to natural product isolation is they can be obtained in high yields.
The important biological activities of these synthesized derivatives such as antioxidant,
antibacterial, antiplasmodial, antiviral, antimalarial, antiflammatory are also been discussed.
Key words: Antibacterial, Antiplasmodial, Antiviral, Antimalarial, Antiflammatory
